Thank you for your interest in Westfield Montessori School (WMS).
We are proud of the reputation our school has gained since it began in 2002 and pleased that you are thinking about becoming part of our learning community.
Below are the various steps to follow when seeking admission into WMS.
STEP 1 – Admission Enquiry
This process is the first step in getting informed about what WMS is all about and our various enrolment policies. An appointment is booked for visitation into classrooms for broader view of our classroom layout
STEP 2 – Class Visitation
This comes to play after interested parent has shown 100% interest in enrolling his/her child into WMS learning community. Parent is taken to the department in which his/her child’s age and class falls in as well as other facilities that are applicable to the child’s age.
STEP 3 – Admission Assessment
Due to WMS high standard of promoting quality education, children seeking admission into Kindergarten 2 (4years) – 8th Grade (JH 2) are assessed under the following processes
Report: A report/assessment from previous should be submitted
Placement Test: A written test in English and Maths is conducted to test the child’s academic standard
Interview: An interview will be conducted to better understand the child’s reasoning skills, confidence and intelligence.
STEP 4 – Admission Decision
As a general practice, admission decisions are completed after the applicant has submitted a completed admission form and taken the appropriate assessments as needed. Once reviewed, the final admission decision will be conveyed to the parents by the Admission Office.
STEP 5 – Enrolment
Once an admission invoice has been issued to parent, payments will have to be made to the bank with the details provided on the invoice. Parents are to submit pay-in slips to administration office for official receipt.
STEP 6 – Orientation
The Admission and Promotion Office conducts orientation programs for new families at the beginning of each new school year and also at the beginning of the term. Students who are admitted once the school term has already started receive a customized orientation from the admissions and promotion office.

The application process requires that all necessary documents stated below should be provided within the admission process period.
